I'll Let It Go After This.....

www.peoplescube.com

Listen to his mocking tone.... Small Business Owners ..... if you take pride in your creation/business, that's YOU he's mocking about "I'm just so smart.... I worked so hard".  Whether he'll admit it or not, he's telling you to stop taking pride in "your" business... he's mocking you!

You put your house up as collateral.  You developed an ulcer in the process.  You forgot the names of your kids.  Your wife started having sex with the college aged kid next door.  You slept a total of 10 hours in a month.  And through all that sacrifice, the product that you developed, the market share you attained by providing a superior product through your own effort and skill, has made you successful.  Hot damn!  That's your name on the sign out front!  People on Yelp and other websites love your products and services!  Now the money is starting to flow!  It paid off!

NOPE!  NOPE!  He's about to put you in your place, here.  Get over yourself.  That's the message.  Just listen to the tone:

MORE: Ed Morrissey at Hot Air has this from a wounded Team Obama (via buzzfeed)

"In conjunction with OFA, we’re going to turn the page tomorrow on Mitt Romney’s trumped up, out of context fact-checked-to-death BS about the President and small business and set the record straight on how Mitt Romney has a horrible record on small business, a failed record on jobs and who is advocating for policies that are great for millionaires, billionaires, big oil and corporate America – but that would devastate small businesses and stifle job growth and small business expansion."

WOW, the camp at Team O can cry all they want, but their guy said what he said, and even if the PARAGRAPH was taken out of context (it wasn't), it doesn't change the fact that he has the lecturing, condescending tone toward small business. I'm also looking forward to the cataloging of Romney's "failed record on jobs and .. policies that will devastate (?) small business..." Whats that, tax cuts? That what devastates small business? Decreased regulation, that devastates small business? Do tell. We're listening.
